The Isoleen Straughan Great Achievers Scholarship, offered by the Straughan Foundation, is designed to support Belizean high school students who demonstrate academic promise and a strong desire to learn. Established in 2020 to honor Isoleen Louise Straughan—a lifelong educator who began teaching at age 15—the scholarship aims to assist students in making their mark through education.

Our goal is to make the application process seamless and accessible for all aspiring scholars.

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Isoleen Straughan Great Achievers Scholarship:

• Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial award.

• Must demonstrate clear financial/economic need.

• Must have a cumulative academic average of 80% or higher.

• Must be currently accepted to or enrolled in a recognized high school.

• Must submit a completed scholarship application form along with all required supporting documents.
